Well, we have done all the worlds 1690 kits this winter, just branching into the heady heights of 110-113 kits, when suddenly.......
Yeah, this week, we have sold two 120 cube motors!!!!
yup, 120 cubic inches, 1966cc in new money!
Its the screaming eagle hand built engine which was gracing the showroom, and now it, and another just like it, are going to be fitted into the bikes of two of our customers who clearly want their smiles widening ready for summer!
Who would have thought it!

the next stage
All you need to decide is wether to go for the 110 kit, or the 113. Big bore throttle body supplied with the 113 kit, not so with the 110.
We can fit it for you, we can just bore the crankcase for you to fit your own, and for a small fee we can remove the cat from the exhaust to gain maximum flow(assuming you are using slip on race cans)
Also, check out the pipes on our demo bikes, original style, but Screaming eagle performance. Call for a price.
All that remains is to go ride the thing, especially since the weather seems to be sorted!

and more(you want one yet?)
Harleys beautiful orange anodised engine jig.
Setting the machining depth......sooo careful, you only get to cut once!
And engine back in, rebuilt, carefully fitted to avoid frame or casing damage.

What we been doin? seems a long time since the last post.....
Well, as we appear to have become the Norths leading supplier of Big bore piston kits for Harleys, we have been branching out into the next stage, the 110, or 113 kit. Yup, 1800cc or more of fun.
Lets face it, we have done so many 1690 kits, people are gonna start asking for more pretty soon(we already have an eager customer for our 120 cube motor!)
So, the next step is the 110, or 113 cube family.
Bit more work this time, you need to drop the motor, strip out the crank, and with our new specialist kit, open out the crankcase mouths for the mahooosive barrels and pistons to drop into.
Once machined out with surgical precision, the motor is built back up by our piston wrangling gurus, and the bike finished off. A few miles(read lots) of bedding in, and the motor is ready to be opened up.
Well
Ive been lucky enough to break it in, and the torque is awesome. Instant drive, and lots of it.
Next week we will be looking at the de-catted manifold(fancy one of those anyone?) to squeeze the last few Lb/ft out of it.
OK, it aint gonna be cheap, but if your mate has just bought a big bore, mebbe its time to crank it up to the next level?? Bit like Marshall amps, turn it up to ELEVEN!
